This is what happens when people vote for a nincompoop

This Picture PAINS me, makes me angry for several reasons. My elder sister (I only have one) is 80. She will not like me making this picture public, or what I am about to say. Pat is in the mask with her 3 children (unmasked) at the weekend in central London, day trip from Norfolk, a birthday treat for her. The photo is on the underground, public transport. There are other photos taken in Covent Garden when all 4 are walking around unmasked. My sister had chemotherapy a year ago, she is frail and her immune system is low. She sent me the photo to say she had a great day out. I said "where are the masks?" Her reply:

"My choice, mask not law , all double jabbed" Now you may think my sister might now what is going on, as her younger brother is the founder of this group, and I told you yesterday of 30,000 plus new cases and 203 new deaths. You would be wrong though. My sister switches off from depressing news, she is a Coronation Street addict. My Nephew is a Johnson luver. They are all ex Londoners, living decades in Norfolk. My niece works in a post office. People think in Britain coronavirus is all over until it hits someone in their family, like 1 in 11 people have been infected. People think like President Chump, been vaccinated or had the disease now immune, "double jabbed", no need for a mask or precautions, enjoy life. The Government has allowed this attitude, even encouraged it, a height of irresponsibility and stupidity, ignorance.

6m adults remain unvaccinated, that is one in 10 walking around unvaccinated. Children even more numerous. The vaccine is designed to reduce illness and hospitalisation and risk of death. NO vaccine is 100%. Deaths of double jabbed are low, but low is not zero. Also the call for booster jabs is because vaccine immunity decreases over time . In addition double jabbed people can still get ill and they can infect others. The United Nations, World Health Organisation and 122 scientists have criticised Johnson for no mask wearing requirements and a complete laissez faire attitude. There are more than one million and a quarter active cases in the UK, (2nd worse in the world for global Boris Britain) all potential spreaders, that is one in 67. Or one in a tube station for instance and on your train.

Now since Freedumb day July 19th, circa 5,000 people in UK have died. Johnson washed his hands of responsibility, that day abdicating his duty of care, and putting the onus of responsibility on the public. Now only 20% of people on public transport wear masks in the UK. In other countries across the world people wear masks, but not Tories in the House of Commons, they want you to think you cannot catch coronavirus from a friend, ( Javid Health Sec on Sky News) and that coronavirus has gone away like their laws and regulations. After all it was Boris who let the delta variant into the UK via Air India in April while he dithered again, as if he was playing a violin on the balcony of Chequers.

The end product is people die, when Boris says "live with the virus". That is why Boris Britain is the sick man of Europe, why only USA, Brazil, India, Mexico, Peru, Russia have worse statistics, but of course they have bigger populations apart from Peru. All of them had or have extremist politicians like Johnson, who want to ignore the virus, to protect the economy. They did not figure out if people get sick they cannot work and the economy suffers anyway. They did not figure out that economies can recover, dead people cannot. AS I said this post does no favours to my 2 Nephews and Niece, But it is because I was so alarmed at their complacency, and to their mother, my sister, and then returning back from a congested London to Norfolk. In her words: "My choice, mask not law , all double jabbed". Johnson gets by on a wing and a prayer, I pray he has not put my family at risk as he has done to millions of others.
