Kay Burley on Sky News this morning conducted a pathetic interview with a Labour Shadow Minister pressing him on exemptions to self isolation.
The shadow minister stated, quite rightly , Britain should not be in the mess, absenteeism, empty shelves, shortage of lorry drivers & supermarket staff, fruit pickers, brexodus and contact tracing. Any bright spark, would realise you give exemptions to self isolation and the infection rates will go u like a rocket.
Bad enough as they are with 1 in 67 infected.
Interesting to note that although This Group has covered the empty shelves story for 2 months now, the Daily Fail and the Sun has clouded over, have just realised.
Maybe one of their hundreds of bone idle journos, sitting there making paper aeroplanes, went out for a sandwich to the Mother Hubbard supermarket and thought he had stumbled on a scoop.

Final point of my soap box oratory this morning. Britain is in a complete mess, because 14million, less than 1/3rd electorate, voted for silly toffee nosed upper class tory twats, who have never wanted for anything and a Crime Minister who gets 100 gourmet meals on butler bicycle wheels a week deliverooed.
If you vote for twats who are nothing more than overgrown schoolboys retaining that mental age of 13 and 3/4s, quite frankly you deserve what you get. HOWEVER, what the stupid sector of society do in their ignorance is believe Tory press Propaganda, and inflict the product of their stupidity on everyone else.
This is the same for any Chaotic confused calamity by Boris Johnson and Co in 2 years of so called Government, whether it is Brexit, Recession, job losses, coronavirus pandemic, lockdowns, U turns, treaties they signed but did not understand, and now pingdemics.
For Johnson it is just another day in the office, another fine mess he has got Britain into. For the British people it will create panic buying, and the poor will suffer most. Children will go hungry.
Incidentally, all this would have happened in January, except Boris told HMCR NOT to stop lorries at ports coming in, so the supermarket shelves could remain full. He actually waved £800m in revenues to soften the Brexit blow to the shopping public. In other words pull the wool over your eyes. But, since June that exemption period had to finish, hence the mess you are in now.
I stand back in amazement at how Britain is in free fall. Like a top 5 premier football club gets a new manager and gets relegated. Either Boris Johnson gets arrested for Gross Misconduct in Public Office, or else the people will have to take the law into their own hands, and there will be anarchy.
