Allan’s Sunday Sermon How did it get like this? This mockery of people’s intelligence, this utter contempt for what is right, for honour, and responsibility.
You are each members of an unofficial jury. You have seen the defendant change his testimony at least 5 times, from denial, to in accordance with the rules, to there were parties but he was not there, to he did not know it was a party, bring your own booze to a work event, and he did not know what his rules were. You were given chapter and verse, dates, times, places, you saw written invitations. IF there was a trial you would not here much else apart from testimony of the wine being spilt on the photocopier, the child’s swing broken by a drunken member of staff, the music that played on. Finer detail, the facts have already been laid before you. There was no need for an internal enquiry, that was convened by the defendant. There was a need for police to enforce the law, they did not at the time, they were then reluctant at best when pressed and now they are part of the delaying tactics. A modus operandi oh too common, which stinks, and is exactly what you would expect from a Government that is rotten to the core, and an obedient Police Force, that does not serve the community which pays officer’s salaries. To be so selfish as a public servant whether in uniform or not, is a complete rejection of any oaths taken.
On appointment each police officer makes a declaration to “faithfully discharge the duties of the Office of Constable.” In England and Wales, police officers swear an of allegiance to the monarch; this is to ensure the separation of power and political independence of the Office of Constable.
MPs take an oath by holding the sacred text in their uplifted hand and saying the words of the oath: I (name of Member) swear by Almighty God that I will be faithful and bear true allegiance to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth, her heirs and successors, according to law. So help me God. I would make the case that the MPs have not be faithful. Lying cannot be faithfulness, neither can law breaking. Similar with Police who fail to discharge their duties faithfully.
UK civil servants are required to be strictly impartial in the way in which they carry out their day-to-day duties, and must in particular remain politically impartial.
The Civil Service Code says this on impartiality:
You must: carry out your responsibilities in a way that is fair, just and equitable and reflects the Civil Service commitment to equality and diversity.
You must not: act in a way that unjustifiably favours or discriminates against particular individuals or interests.
But - and it's a big 'But' - civil servants are not totally impartial when serving the Government of the day. Parties in government are always better served than parties out of government. The civil service advises Ministers on how best to present their policies, helps them avoid or respond to attacks, and (under the Osmotherly Rules) they can provide only selective information to Select Committees. THEREFORE Alexander Boris Depfeffle Johnson (aka Kemal) has decided to tear up the rule book on standards and conspired with Cabinet and Party colleagues AND the Metropolitan Police to pervert the course of justice in order to remain in power as Prime Minister.
Meanwhile we have on lookers, barristers, opposition MPs, all sitting watching a soap opera unfold , drip by drip, by drip, and no one prepared to see justice is not only done, but is seen to be done. PartyGate, like Brexit, like Coronavirus Pandemic management is a dreadful indictment of Boris Britain and what it stands for today. In one word CORRUPT. #ARRESTBORISJOHNSON Allan Sharpe founder
Post Note
The jury system began in 1189 in the first year in the reign of Henry II. Before that, they didn't have juries, but if you could find 12 people to support your case, you'd be released. Since then, it evolved from the 12 being witnesses to 12 deciding on the facts.
Former Supreme Court Justice Lord Sumption says the Metropolitan Police have effectively “obstructed or delayed” MPs performing their constitutional function of holding the government to account by asking Sue Gray not to publish key details of her report
