Is this the final curtain for the showman?

According to the Lies, falsehoods and misrepresentations of Boris Johnson and his government website with cases of Covid-19 surging, Boris Johnson came to the Commons to announce draconian new restrictions, including a curfew of pubs and restaurants and a return to home working. In the midst of this statement to the House of Commons, the prime minister said: “These rules—these measures—will only work if people comply. There is nothing more frustrating for the vast majority who do comply—the law-abiding majority—than the sight of a few brazenly defying the rules, so these rules will be enforced by tighter penalties.”

This observation is notable because brazen defiance of the rules has come to define the Johnson premiership whether in connection with the Covid emergency, the standards of public life, or Johnson’s personal dealings. Omerta and a leaked email

"On behalf of Martin Reynolds Socially distanced drinks, officially sensitive, no 10 only. After what has been an incredibly busy period , we thought it would be nice to make the most of the lovely weather and have some socially distanced drinks in the No 10 garden this evening. Please join us from 6pm bring your own booze. Martin principle Private Secretary to the Prime Minister" Damning and disgraceful. Addresses erased as is a date, meant to be May 20 2020 when Boris Britain was in lockdown . Source of leaked email, probably Dominic Cummings. Note "We" and "US" from the Private Sec of Boris Johnson. and on behalf of.. Who has access to Reynolds own email with his address, and it is signed off "Martin". How can you have "socially distanced drinks", when the coronavirus restrictions stated you could meet one person and this email was sent to 100 people apparently. Socially distanced pouring of drinks into glasses, are arms lengths 2 metres, is it meant to be a funny joke? A piss take amongst colleagues. Are they laughing at the public?.

What were the rules on 20 May 2020?

The COVID rules in May 2020, in a month of record temperatures, were spelled out by the then Culture Secretary, now Tory party chairman, Oliver Dowden only an hour before the 20 May party began.

"You can spend time outdoors and exercise as often as you like, and you can meet one person from outside your household in an outdoor public place provided you stay two metres apart," he said at a Downing Street COVID news conference.

And ominously for the PM, on the same day the Metropolitan Police tweeted: "Have you been enjoying the hottest day of the year so far?

"It is important that we all continue to stay alert. You can relax, have a picnic, exercise or play sport, as long as you are on your own, with people you live with and just you and one other person."

The Crime Minister has always professed "omerta" the Sicilian mafia word for a vow of silence, since his Bullingdon Club days at Oxford. He needed to, like an errant school boy he has always thought rules did not apply to him. Now he faces PMqs tomorrow (get your ringside seat), and currently says his 2nd choice of civil servant Anna Gray will investigate. Remember Simon Case the 1st choice had to stand down as he had attended the parties he was meant to investigate and cover up for. Allegra Stratton had to go for her post party giggles as civil servants careers were thrown to the wolves, to keep politicians squeaky clean. The Blame Game. The Crime Minister knows if he and Princess Nut Nuts was there in his garden or not. Witnesses say they were. He has not denied being there. Hitherto he always said meetings were not parties and followed guidelines. It is not plausible for Boris and Carrie not to be attendees and that the email was sent under Boris instructions by his private secretary. (another candidate for taking the bullet). A party theme thanking No 10 staff for hard work, in Boris's garden, but the drinks were not on him.

Police Scotland Yard have contacted the cabinet office. I say do you F**KING JOB Coppers. Some 14,000 fines were handed out for similar gatherings . Allan Sharpe

Party Gate. When Boris gave you lockdown rules, some people were fined, other people suffered loss, and isolation, people died alone, but the parties in Whitehall carried on .

Drip Drip Drip, the parties so far

A list of the parties you maybe were not invited to.

15 May: A photo from May 2020 showed the prime minister and his staff with bottles of wine and a cheeseboard in the Downing Street garden. When asked about it, Boris Johnson said, "those people were at work talking about work".

20 May: About 100 people were invited by email to "socially distanced drinks in the No 10 garden this evening". Witnesses told the BBC the PM and his wife were among about 30 people who attended. Boris Johnson has declined to say whether he was there.

13 November: Sources told the BBC that Downing Street staff members attended a gathering with Carrie Johnson in the flat where she and the prime minister live. A spokesman for Mrs Johnson denies the party took place.

27 November: A leaving event was held for No 10 aide, Cleo Watson, where people were drinking, and Mr Johnson made a speech, according to sources.

15 December: Multiple sources have told the BBC there was a Christmas quiz for No 10 staff last year. A photo - published by the Sunday Mirror - shows Boris Johnson taking part and sitting between two colleagues in No 10. Mr Johnson has denied any wrongdoing.

18 December: Downing Street originally denied a report by the the Daily Mirror that a party took place in Downing Street. However, a video obtained by ITV News showed the prime minister's then-press secretary Allegra Stratton, joking about reports of an event, saying: "This fictional party was a business meeting and it was not socially distanced."
