Freedom Day or Anxiety Day?

It is estimated the death by crucifixion of Jesus as having taken place between AD 30 and 36. In St. Matthew's gospel, Pontius Pilate washed his hands before the multitude, saying, “I am innocent of the blood of this just person”. This was to show the crowd he did not want Jesus dead, but ordered his death because that is what the people wanted. Pilate blamed the crowd, not himself. Pilate was washing his hands of the responsibility.

Today over 2,000 years later history repeats itself, with Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson, as he washes his hands of responsibility over Coronavirus life or death.

We all know Johnson is an incompetent buffoon, indecisive, dithering, blundering, confused and chaotic, lacking attention to detail, lacking morals or empathy, lacking honesty and integrity, even lacking humanity. He is not a Prime Minister, he is a crime minister, bored after 18 months of lockdowns and waves of cases and deaths up to twice the capacity of Wembley Stadium. He never took the pandemic seriously and his failed and flawed public health strategy was too little too late, following a piece of science advice when it suited him. The result the worse handling of a global crisis by a single world leader , the 5th highest death toll, the worse out of Europe and a collapsed economy to boot, which he always tried to protect, wealth versus health. He was too lazy, ill prepared, ill equipped to deal with the worse peace time crisis in history. He ignored advice and assistance, and spurned recommendations. Coronavirus brought winners and losers, the losers were isolated in dread of meeting people, they were the dead who caught the disease, they were the bereaved losing loved ones. Johnson never really cared one iota. His sociopathic narcistic mind saw opportunities to make money by handing out favours and contracts costing the tax payer billions £££. These were the winners. He was aided and abetted by his cesspit of a government and Tory donors. Now all restrictions will be off, live with it or die by it is the government advice. No masks, no social distancing, cases will rise, sickness absenteeism at work will rise, deaths will occur. Some of his Tory cronies state that mask wearing is a breach of civil liberties, while presumably they wear a seat belt and drive at 30mph in a built up area. This hands off act of irresponsibility is attacked by the United Nations World Health Organisation and over 120 UK scientists. 18 months ago , when Johnson woke up to reality, from Brexit fairy tales and writing a book about Shakespeare to pay for his latest divorce, he was quite jolly washing his hands for the cameras, and dressing up pretending to be a medic. That appealed to his puerile mind. Now , the man that wanted to go into the history books as Churchill reincarnated, will be ridiculed by historians and compared to the Dictator Pontius Pilate instead, Such is the legacy of the worse Prime Minister in British History, himself a control freak instead of showing leadership and resolve.
