Lets put some perspective on Coronavirus Since the very beginning, for almost 2 years now I have daily published Coronavirus News updates . Today 148 people died, there are no photos, no names, only the families know, to add to the 170,000 plus in 20 months of Boris @ the helm. There are 50,000 plus new cases , to add to the 10 million plus that have suffered. There are well over 1 million active cases. 336,783 Cases this last week 854 Deaths this last week 5,505 admitted to hospital this last week My perspective on this is, if 27 people in a dinghy die in one day, as sad and regrettable as that is and disgraceful, it is headline front page news for a day or so, some names and photos published. BUT, if 148 people die in one day, 161 yesterday, 180 the day before, where are the headline makers? After 20 months it is no longer news , that the number of NEW cases per day is equivalent to the crowd in a stadium watching a Premier League Football match. That the number of people dying these last 3 days is equivalent to 3 plane crashes in 3 days. BUT who cares???????? You have the equivalent of a plane crash every day body bag boris, but do you care????? Do your Tory Propaganda Rags care, obviously NOT. And the police are they on the side of justice and upholding the law, or on the side of turning a blind eye to infringements by the rich, powerful and famous while coming down like a ton of bricks on transgressions committed by the peasants and plebs. Perspective. It is one of the illnesses of society that a significant minority can vote for incompetence to oversee the deaths of unfortunate innocents. Residents of Hartlepool and Sidcup hang your heads in shame. There were 2 grey haired people, woman and man, vox popped in the streets of Blythe on TV News today, who said Downing Street Christmas parties in 2020 did not matter, more important things to worry about they said.
