Your life and those of your children are not as important.
You will pay money into the bank and pay insurances etc. Some of that money is invested in fossil fuels. You will buy gas, petrol diesel even coal and pay taxes on it. On Petrol and diesel you are taxed on tax, the majority of the cost of a litre is tax, with VAT on top of excise duty. Profits are ploughed into new oil fields as old ones dry up, and that’s where the financial institutions come in.
2. Money is also spent lavishly on Parliamentary lobbying to keep fossil fuel industry alive and in profit.
3. That’s where the law makers come in and turn a blind eye for back handers.
The result Climate Change and we only have one planet.
There is no plan et B.
The irony is when your house and possessions are destroyed through extreme weather events the banks and insurance companies are unlikely to pay out. If you make multiple claims, you are unlikely to be insurable.
