Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson, has been prime Minister of Britain for over a year after his Conservative party removed Theresa may from Office in the summer of 2019. In December he went to the electorate and won a landslide majority after 14 million voted for him. His election pledge was "Get Brexit Done", and he promised an "oven ready" deal. Johnson is a proven serial liar. He has lied to employers, wives, Ministers and Prime Minister's and now as Prime Minister. His Brexit Leave campaign was a tissue of lies, subversion and illegal funding. winning the referendum on the 23rd of June 2016. By the end of 2020 he had made a thin trade deal with the EU, a break after 47 years of membership, which had been his personal ambition. It cost the Country up to £200bn in changes, and as much as the 2% per annum Govt expenditure for all those 47 years prior. Britain was not prepared for change, which would now no longer be roll on roll off frictionless. Northern Ireland in particular had to remain in the EU single market, because of Eire's membership and the Good Friday peace agreement. Scotland had voted Remain in 2016 and was now seeking independence to rejoin the EU. Johnson was alienating the home devolved countries in the United Kingdom as well as the 48% of the population that wanted to Remain in the EU. In addition to the break up of the Union and confining the Union Jack to a museum exhibit, Johnson and his Brexit were hitting teething problems. There was no provision for the financial sector, and at the first opportunity billions of pounds were lost in investment to Europe when the stock exchange reopened on January 4th 2021. The wealth of the nation was leaking. Britain as a result of Brexit and Coronavirus pandemic was already in recession to the tune of £2trillion. IT was Coronavirus that Johnson never got a grip on. After a slow reaction start when the virus arrived to Britain through air travel in February 2020, Johnson has always been behind the speed of the virus transmission. Slow to act, indecisive, his indecision was a decision in itself, because the virus did not wait for him to act. Britain had a failed public health strategy, compounded by wasted money on privatised outsourced untendered NHS contracts for Test and Trace and protective equipment and ventilators. These contracts went to "friends" with no experience, instead of funding public health local authorities. £billions in secret contracts were fritted away, on failed services. Tens of thousand of people died in 2 main waves and 3 lockdowns. Johnson tried to juggle education at school and university, the economy and health, and he dropped all the balls.
